People have different tastes when it comes to their comfort zones. Some prefer lounging in the living room because it is where the plush sofa and most household appliances are located. Others choose their bedroom as the place to be because this is where their ultra comfortable bed is situated, along with the electric gadgets that are so ubiquitous nowadays. Still others, who have the leaning towards cooking and baking, pick the kitchen as their own corner because it is where they can experiment freely.

There are also those who opt to laze in the bathroom. For the fans, it is the place where they can throw all their worries and anxieties in the shower drain, along with the dirt and pollutants that has attached to their bodies after hours of being stuck in traffic. It is also where they can reenergize their tired mind, body and spirit. Truly, the benefits of a long and luxurious bubble bath can give anyone a feel of what it’s like to be in nirvana. Even a quick and cool shower can bring immense relief to the weary individual.

Read this comprehensive guide that will tell you all the secrets that you need to know in adding an extra bathroom. Hopefully, you will get plenty of benefits from it.

First, you have to decide on the best site for the additional bathroom. It has to be strategically located so that the household occupants will not have a hard time in trying to access it. You must also ensure that it has nearby pipes connected to your main water source. If not, you will be forced to dig deep in your pocket for the added cost because you must create connecting lines to have a steady stream of water supply. Just imagine what a hassle it would be if you are in the middle of the shower full of soap bubbles and suddenly, the water just stopped pouring in from the shower head.

Next, ask help from an interior designer or buy home improvement magazines if you can’t decide on a particular style. You may also observe the projects of design guru Martha Stewart for inspiration. There are a million and one options to choose from, ranging from the most simple to the most ornate. Classic styles will appeal to the simple taste of an individual while radical designs will be the choice of an owner who has an eclectic taste.

Paint the walls of the bathroom with vibrant shades or earth-toned hues depending on your fancy. You can choose from all colors of the rainbow such as deep violet, egg-yolk yellow, cool blue, tangerine, moss green, taupe, beige or light brown.

Third, maximize the use of natural light for a cozier effect. Not only will you amplify the style factor of your bathroom, you will also be saving money on your electric bills. You may also go for ambient lighting whose main purpose is to brighten up the entire space. On the other hand, adding a task light is perfect for those with meticulous grooming needs. For the ladies, it is a perfect accompaniment for putting on your facial make up and spraying that natural tan coming from a bottle. Remember, a task light should be placed above the vanity mirror to be of proper service.

Lastly, the bathroom must be made complete with the presence of the essential fixtures. This includes fully functional shower heads, sinks, faucets, toilet bowls and a drainage system.

Freezing on the Xbox 360

When it comes to the Xbox 360, freezing is sometimes a problem. And of course, this problem always chooses to come up at the worst time. Timing aside though, here I will discuss what it is that causes such a powerful and typically graceful machine to malfunction like that.

Xbox 360 freezing is actually caused by a slew of very different errors. Though it is convenient that many of these things are really easy to fix, it is bad that it will be a bit tedious to determine which of the many possibilities is the actual cause. Luckily, figuring out what is wrong is usually the hardest part–then it’s back to playing the night away.

So you have a busted Xbox 360, freezing like it just wants to make you mad, and you don’t know what to do with it. There is one fix that works more often than most people will admit–restart it. Especially if your console just froze up for the first time, the problem will probably go away without any trouble just from doing that. Even if your 360 has been freezing a few times lately, simply restarting the system will still work. If your Xbox locks up every once in a while, that’s just a fluke. But if it’s happening consistently, then there definitely is a problem.

Keep in mind, if only a certain game is getting stuck, for instance if GTA stopped working every time you went to a certain portion of the map, your Xbox 360 freezing is most likely a result of a scratched or damaged disc–not the actual Xbox console. If this is the case, the next time the game freezes up, hitting the big button on the controller should still bring up the dashboard. Further, try playing some other games on your Xbox, or playing the damaged game on another Xbox, and see if the results are similar.

So your whole gaming platform is freezing just because of a lousy disc? Well, the simple thing to do would be just clean off the disc. There are lots of products designed to fill in scratches, and any soft fabric cloth will work just fine for clearing off the dirt and dust. Do all that, and give it another whirl. Also, you should try loading the game up onto the Xbox hard drive; it’ll play a bit better from there. If that isn’t the source, we will have to dig yet deeper. The remaining possibilities are: a strange file on the hard drive’s cache, internet issues, or a hardware malfunction.

In general, it can be difficult to know for certain if a freezing issue is being caused by the hard drive’s cache. The best way to check, is simply to run your Xbox 360, without the hard drive connected. If this seems to get rid of all the locking up, then the problem was in the hard drive, and probably had to do with what was stored in the cache. There is a simple way to empty out your Xbox’s cache. After reattaching the hard drive, turn on the Xbox again. On the dashboard, browse left and right until you find the area labeled “System.” There, locate “Memory” and press Y to access the device options. Now, press X X Lb Rb X X. When it asks about system maintenance, just hit A.

If, on your Xbox 360, freezing only occurs when you are playing on Xbox Live, it might be due to your internet connection. If this were the case, you should notice it when just using the internet on your computer; unless, of course, the cord just isn’t plugged in right. I’d recommend checking that out.

Lastly, it is possible your Xbox freezing is a visual clue to an issue hiding inside your actual 360. If at any point your console might have overheated, the GPU’s connection to the motherboard may have been compromised. The console locking up consistently is a very common result of this. Fixing this would mean reestablishing the GPU’s contact with the motherboard, and repairing the thermal compound to prevent it from happening again.

This sounds pretty daunting, I know, yet it need to be. Unfortunately, if the whole freezing thing is happening because of a hardware failure, it won’t repair itself. Even then though, this console is very far from being beyond repair. In fact, you could have it back on its feet in an hour or two! After all, it’s just a little freeze, right?
